Target Audience:  Junior Cycle Business Teachers

This webinar will look at a variety of methods that can be used to engage students in a Junior Cycle Business class. The new junior cycle curriculum puts a big focus on students actively engaging with the subject content. Many resources that will be shared with participants of this webinar can be adapted to use in their own classrooms.

The main objectives of this webinar will be to:
- Explore a variety of approaches for differentiation, specifically in relation to Junior Cycle Business Studies
- Offer insights that ensure all students are challenged to the appropriate level
- Ensure that the needs of the different types of learners are met through tasks in the Business Studies classroom

Bio of Presenter: Helena Jacob

Helena Jacob is a Business Studies, Business , Accounting and Digital Literacy teacher in Gorey Community School, Wexford, having previously taught in Good Counsel College, New Ross and Terenure College, Dublin. She is currently head of the Business Department in Gorey Community School. She is the owner of the twitter account @LCBusinessJC account where she shares resources, that she has created to engage, support and challenge students at Junior and Senior Cycle.
