This webinar will
- outline best-practice methods of revision, tailored to English and 'Macbeth' as the Leaving Certificate exam approaches.
- propose ways of deepening students' knowledge of the play, and show how they can use this to exercise their own critical thinking.
- provide practical strategies to strengthen revision of the play in the classroom and also in independent work.
- suggest resources to widen teachers' own knowledge of the text.
Julian Girdham is an experienced English teacher and conference presenter. He also organises researchED Dublin, a major international educational conference on evidence-based practice, which took place in his school, St Columba's College in Dublin, in 2019 and 2022, as well as an annual 'English Meet' for teachers of Leaving Certificate English.
