SENCO Community of Practice welcomes all primary SENCOs, SETs and teachers to our November meeting. Jean Reale from Mary Immaculate College will deliver an online presentation on Assistive Technology. In this session we will look at harnessing the power of inbuilt assistive technology supports in everyday classroom technology, to support ALL learners to achieve their full learning potential. The session aims to support teachers to incorporate the most relevant assistive technologies to support their students it will look at current developments in text to speech, speech to text, translation and writing supports. This presentation will be followed by PhD candidate Sarah Gallagher presenting on her current research. A brief meeting will follow to discuss any queries and share ideas/best practices.
